What is a Workspace?

A Workspace is a website where teams come together and share information. Rather than emailing project and team information to everybody, users share files, coordinate tasks, manage documents and discuss topics inside of a Workspace.

Depending on your business needs, there are three types of Workspace options:

Team Workspace
A Team Workspace is a micro-site created by any user. The user that created the Workspace is the owner and administrator of the Workspace. The Team Workspace Owner/Administrator can invite other members to the Workspace and controls their permission rights. The Team Workspace Owner/Admin sets the permission levels for each member and decides whether or not each member can Read, Edit, Add or Delete information in the Workspace.

Company Workspace
Company Workspaces are for businesses that desire additional security (SSL Encryption) and want the ownership of the Workspace to reside with Company (as opposed to the individual user in the Team Workspace). Company Workspaces ensure that the content and intellectual property created within the workspace, stay with the company, even if an employee leaves the company.

Public Workspace
A Public Workspace is an un-gated Workspace that is available to anyone on the web. There is no username or password required for users to access the Public Workspace. Public Workspaces are used to Post Newsletters, Announce Events, Launch a Product or Create a Customer Portal.
