Planning for manufacturing's future

Manufacturing matters was the mantra of the New Hampshire Manufacturing Summit held Wednesday at the Grappone Conference Center.



The summit was the culmination of six regional roundtables over the past year during which manufacturing heads came together to talk about the issues facing their industry, such as skyrocketing health care insurance costs, financing difficulties and the need to have their voice heard in government.



And the summit was an opportunity for manufacturers to hear what recommendations had come out of the roundtables and what the future of manufacturing in New Hampshire might look like.

Cash flow management is a problem for almost any firm, large or small. The worst symptom of the problem: the business runs out of cash...Why is cash flow so important? If the cash inflows exceed the cash outflows, the business can continue operations. If the cash outflows exceed the inflows, the business RUNS OUT OF CASH and grinds to a halt.
