The Virginia Department of Business Assistance is the economic development agency dedicated to the growth and success of the Commonwealth's business community. Established by the Virginia General Assembly in 1996, the Virginia Department of Business Assistance helps businesses to identify and connect with the resources they need to meet challenges and realize market opportunities including business counseling, workforce development, minority programs, financing, licensing and permitting and other services.
