The Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) provides businesses with guidance for responding to opportunities to market products and services to Federal, state and local governments. PTA Centers are located in each state, often in more than one location, and assistance is provided at no or a nominal cost. The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the Secretary of Defense, administers the program.
