Formerly called Northeastern Economic Development Company (NEDC), ASBF is a non-profit organization that works with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and private sector lenders to provide financing to small businesses using an SBA 504 loan program. 504 projects address fixed asset funding and typically require a minimum contribution of 10% equity from the small business borrower. ASBF services include assisting small businesses throughout the entire state of Pennsylvania in obtaining financing by assembling, analyzing and making recommendations on loan packages, as well as submitting analysis and recommendations to the SBA for approval, and closing and servicing 504 loans.
