Works to promote continual high quality care by facilitating effective cooperation between nurse anesthetists, anesthesiologists, and other members of the healthcare profession; to provide members with direction pertaining to governmental policy, legislation, and judicial decisions of importance to anesthesia; and to promote the practice of nurse anesthesia through development of educational programs.
