10 Step Venture eMentoring Program™

Session 8: Resource Networks

One of the most important activities to building business success is building and nurturing your support networks. Like most things in life, the quality of your relationships can help you through the tough times and contribute to your positive momentum and progress over the long haul.

This Session provides you with an opportunity to learn about a comprehensive public business assistance arena that offers a range of free and low-cost programs to help you start, grow and succeed in business. Many of these programs are available in your local community and will provide you with access to local people who will work with you directly based on your specific needs.

There are private sector partners that you will need to incorporate in your resource network as well. Your public agency contacts may offer advice in this regard, as well as your local chamber of commerce.

As with the other Sessions in this online learning program, you will get as much out of this exercise as you put into it. Our advice is to find these resources and then proactively build your networks. The time you invest in this process will pay huge dividends.
