WEDCO promotes and supports the retention of existing businesses, the relocation of environmentally friendly businesses, and the establishment of new ventures for the creation of career opportunities for local residents. Services include technical assistance, financing, loan packaging, Community Development Block Grants and other community and economic development activities. WEDCO's service area encompasses the Strafford County towns of Farmington, Middleton, Milton, and New Durham as well as the Carroll County Towns of Brookfield, Effingham, Moultonborough, Sandwich, Tuftonboro, Wakefield, and Wolfeboro.
