A regional economic development agency whose purpose is to make significant contributions to sustain and improve the quality and standard of living for the region and the people of northern Maine. This is done by offering economic development, business finance, small business counseling and planning services to the businesses and communities of the region. NMDC is a non-profit economic development agency, which serves all of Aroostook County and northern portions of Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington counties.
