MAINE INTERNATIONAL TRADE CENTER (MITC)
The Maine International Trade Center is Maine?s center for international business assistance. Formed in 1996, the Trade Center provides technical assistance and trade counseling, import and export leads, international credit reports, workshops, coordinated trade missions and trade shows, and many other useful services to help Maine companies seeking to succeed in international markets. The Trade Center has risen to the challenge of serving Maine?s business community throughout the state with the establishment of three offices: its flagship location in downtown Portland; its Bangor office servicing Eastern and Northern Maine and housing the Canada Desk for Canadian trade and NAFTA issues; and its Lewiston office covering Maine?s Central/Western regions and is located in the heart of the French speaking region of Maine.
