Provides a number of services to both businesses and communities in Eastern Maine to strengthen economic and community development. EMDC encourage businesses to expand and relocate to eastern Maine by helping find incentives and financing, site locations, data and information about labor markets, populations, and business activity in the area. Assistance can also be provided in the areas of marketing, government contracting, manufacturing issues, international trade, business planning, and training.
