SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER (SBDC) IA STATE CENTER
The Iowa Small Business Development Centers conduct research for, counsel, and train established or aspiring entrepreneurs in managing, financing, and operating small businesses. The SBDC also provides comprehensive information services and access to experts in a variety of fields. Each SBDC regional center encourages unique local efforts-region to region and community to community-to meet small business needs in its area. SBDCs develop and maintain partnerships among community organizations and local, state, and federal agencies, providing a focal point for broad networks of public and private resources at the community level. Any present or prospective small business owner is eligible for management and technical assistance at the SBDC.
