The SBDC works with existing and start-up business owners by providing counseling services and workshops on issues such as business basics, planning, registering a business, financing, regulations, licensing, training, workforce, manufacturing, environmental, and various other business management disciplines. Counseling services are at no charge. Start-up businesses are required to attend a Business Basic Workshop before seeking counseling. Workshops include both no-cost and low-cost sessions.
