TARCOG helps local governments improve quality of life for the region's more than 500,000 residents. The Council does this by obtaining funding assistance for local governments, coordinating local responses to regional issues and providing a wide range of services to the region's governments and residents. TARCOG also provides communities services and technical assistance including the Area Agency on Aging and Economic Development and Planning.
