Fund A Scientist is a website where individuals or institutions with funding can seek out scientists with innovative projects and provide them with funding and support. When a funder or a scientist registers with Fund A Scientist, a search of the Fund A Scientist's database is made and funders are notified of research proposals that may be of interest to them based on their registration information. Then the funders can contact the scientists directly in whom they have an interest to learn more about the scientists and their research proposals and then possibly provide the scientists with funding. There is no charge for this facilitative service.
